Tony Solis majored in Audiovisual Production at UANL. He´s lived in Mexico City since 2006. He is the founder and director of Y-Not Magazine. PÁNICO and GXXRL, which he founded and directed from 2011 to 2015, stand out among his publishing projects. He was also editor of Nylon México. He has collaborated with numerous domestic and international publishing projects such as Elle, Nylon, Mad, Vice, Código, Picnic, Gatopardo, QUO, 192, Animal, Celeste, Baby Baby Baby, ID México, Hyper Animals and The Beauty Effect..
Tony Solis is a very active member of the contemporary art scene. The Enrique Guerrero Art Gallery represents him and he has participated in the most important art fairs. He won the Fotografia latinoamericana Purificación Gracía award at Zona Maco in 2012. In March 2015, he presented his third solo exposition called "La marcha de los gatitos apachurrados” inspired by Japanese anime Mitchirineko and Leonard Cohen and Tom Wait´s music. In 2016, he directed his first fashion film for Y-Not Magazine.
